Sex and big city in english
So "to have a hard on" for someone maybe is used in that sense: ironic "liking".Well, it's a clearly sexual term, but I've never heard it used in an aggressive sense. Noth and Corbett (who was with his longtime girlfriend Bo Derek) first chatted near the oyster bar before they were joined by Sharon Stone. Sarah Jessica Parker's former leading men then made their way around the party separately but reunited about an hour later for some more chatting. I believe that there are two somewhat similar expressions to using the term "hard on." Only one of them has a sexual connotation.
chaikayup,i think the title "Sex in the City" sounds better, but the main strees in this title is on sexand another version - "Sex and the City" sounds well too, and the stress is on sex and City both..do u think?
But I mean "Sex & the City" is all New York, so "the City" in question here stays on the East Coast...
I think what matters in the movie is not the size of the city per se, but SJP's affection for NYC itself...
