Updating bios for asus p5gc mx 1333
So I have Asus P5GC-MX 1333 REV 3.x.x And I just bought this Core2Duo E8400 and after I installed the processor, the motherboard wants me to upgrade the bios" Unidentified CPU, bios update needed to unleash its full power "Thats the message i get at the boot up screen So the idea is my current bios version doesnt support this cpu, and if i want my cpu to work properly I need to upgrade my bios I thought this gonna be a simple download and install thing.But the problem is I cant make any bios I've downloaded to work..I have tried updating from 10.7.2 to 10.7.5 sleepenabler deleting and restoring permissions and not working to me. I get an error unsupported kernel Fintek chip in the log.
